FAQs

How and when will we receive our gallery?

In an effort to be more eco-friendly and reduce waste I do not deliver physical prints or USB’s. Instead, your gallery will be delivered via online gallery. That way you are free to download and print as you wish. I will deliver a sneak peek of approximately 10 images within 48 hours of your day (ready for the insta post). The full gallery will then be delivered within 8 weeks of your wedding day.

Do you edit the images?

Yes. All images will be edited by me. I have developed my own style of editing which you can see throughout my portfolio.

Are you insured?

Yes! I have public liability and business insurance.

What happens if you’re unwell on our day?

This has not happened to me yet (touch wood). It would take a lot to prevent me from attending your day. However, in the unlikely event this did happen I have a group of photographers in the area I could reach out to in order to ensure your day is covered. I would endeavour to ensure cover is arranged and keep you updated throughout to try and reduce any anxiety.

Do you travel?

Yes Yes Yes! I LOVE to travel and see new places. Wherever you’re getting married I’d love to be involved. Travel outside of the Midlands may incur an additional cost. Depending on distance I may require an overnight stay (a rested photographer is a good photographer). I don’t require anything fancy, I love a good Premier Inn! If you’re considering hiring me and unsure about the distance, get in touch and we can discuss any expenses if needed.

What’s the booking process?

Once you’ve enquired with me (through the enquiry form on the contact page) and I’ve confirmed if your date is available we can arrange a Facetime or call to discuss the plans for your day. After this if you’d like to book me I will send you a contract to be signed. I will then require a Β£200 non-refundable booking fee to secure your date. Once the signed contract and booking fee are received your date will be secured in my diary. It’s important to note, until the contract and booking fee are received your date is not secured. The remaining balance will then be required four weeks before your wedding day.

We’re confused by all things β€˜wedding’, can you help?

Of course I can! I have attended many weddings as a Photographer and not long ago planned my own big day. I know how overwhelming planning a wedding can be and am happy to answer any questions you may have. I might not always know the answer but I’m happy to try and point you in the right direction where I can. Unsure how to come up with the timeline of your day? I have a load of sample timelines we can consider together and adjust to your needs. Need a recommendation for a make up artist? I’ve worked with loads before and can send over some Instagram accounts for you to consider. I’m only ever a text message away and would love nothing more than to talk weddings with you.

We’re uncomfortable in front of the camera, what can we do?

First of all, this is completely normal. It’s rare for most of us to have much experience in front of the camera and so it can feel daunting. However, I’ll do everything I can to put you at ease. I enjoy a natural photography style and so throughout the day I’ll be snapping away without you even noticing. However, there will be moments where I steal you both away for some portraits. This is nothing to be scared of! I will give you some easy posing prompts (no more β€˜I don’t know where to put my hands’) and I’m always cracking jokes and being weird behind the camera to make you both laugh. It’s a great opportunity for you to steal a quiet moment together and I’m happy to be the third wheel. We’ll have had plenty of time to get to know each other by then and by the end of it we’ll feel like old friends and you’ll be a natural model.

What years are you taking bookings for?
