Rustic Meets Modern at Inkersall Grange Farm

Inkersall Grange Farm is the perfect backdrop for any couple looking for a countryside wedding with a modern twist.

Surrounded by the beauty of Sherwood Forest, this venue offers a blend of rustic style and understated luxury.

The three giant tipis provided the ideal setting for the celebrations, giving this wedding at Inkersall Grange Farm a relaxed, festival-inspired vibe while still feeling intimate and personal. The addition of fire pits outdoors and fairy lights glowing as the evening set in only added to the magic of the day.

A Modern, Timeless Look for Jack and Esme

Esme looked absolutely breathtaking in her fitted lace gown, which featured a plunging neckline and delicate straps. The dress was elegant yet contemporary, striking that perfect balance between timeless and modern.

The lace detailing added a subtle texture without being too heavy, and the clean, flattering silhouette was pure perfection!

Paired with a long, flowing veil, Esme’s look had those dreamy, movement-filled moments I always love to capture.

She kept her accessories minimal and refined, allowing her dress (and her radiant smile!) to take centre stage.

She later switched things up for the evening, removing her veil and adding the most beautiful bows to the straps of her gown. It was such a simple change, but it completely transformed her look, giving it a softer, more playful feel while still keeping that same elegant edge! It felt like the perfect day-to-night transition, and honestly, I was obsessed. Those little details made her look even more effortlessly stunning.

Jack looked equally dapper in his classic yet relaxed dark suit paired with a white shirt and burgundy tie. His style complemented Esme’s beautifully, maintaining a clean, tailored look without feeling overly formal.

Together, they just looked so effortlessly stylish, like they’d stepped straight out of a modern countryside wedding editorial!

A Soft, Romantic Palette Inspired by the Countryside

The overall styling of the wedding leaned into neutral and earthy tones, creating a soft, romantic aesthetic that felt both fresh and timeless. Warm creams, muted greens, soft whites, and subtle blush tones tied everything together beautifully.

The florals were simple but intentional, featuring natural arrangements that felt as though they’d been taken straight from the surrounding countryside.

What made the florals even more meaningful is the fact all of the bridesmaids bouquets were made up of individual flowers which were all used together to create Esme’s bouquet!

The atmosphere of the day was what truly stood out to me at this wedding at Inkersall Grange Farm.

A Celebration Full of Energy from Sunshine to Dance Floor

The outdoor spaces at Inkersall Grange Farm were perfect for guests to chat and enjoy the sunshine. Drinks were served outside, lawn games kept everyone entertained, and there was a constant buzz of chatter and laughter in the air.

It was a wedding at Inkersall Grange Farm full of genuine connection and joy, and that’s something I always try to capture in my photography!

The indoor reception space was just as inviting. The warm lighting and laid-back setup in the tipis created an intimate feel that allowed everyone to really relax and enjoy themselves. As the evening rolled on, the dance floor came alive, and the energy was infectious. You could see just how much fun everyone was having, and those candid moments of pure joy are some of my favourites from the entire day.

Their Full Story Told Through My Candid, Cinematic Photography

When it came to the photography, Jack and Esme had booked my full-day wedding photography package with a second shooter, which meant we could capture every aspect of their day in detail. From the quiet, emotional moments during their couple portraits to the laughter and fun shared with their guests, their gallery really tells the full story of their wedding day from start to finish.

My favourite images from this wedding at Inkersall Grange Farm? Definitely the outdoor portraits where Esme’s veil caught the breeze, creating those soft, cinematic shots that feel so full of movement and life.

The warm, earthy tones of my editing style tied everything together, giving their album that romantic, documentary vibe I aim for in my work.
